Please see below for the BBC and ITV news reports of the benefits and success of Bodyzorbing in schools.
Bodyzorbing can be done inside a sports hall or outside on grass or on Astroturf.
It's a fantastic and safe work-out that anyone can enjoy.
Even children who are very inactive, those children who refuse to take park in other physical activities or team sports will love this and will feel the benefit and fun from getting active.
It can be used as part of the PE curriculum.
Children can make their own fun or it can be run with structured games and activities.
However it is done, children will be getting really active without thinking about it as exercise.
Bodyzorbing can be used again and again, week after week with the same students as there are many different activities.
They can be used for a whole hour session or just for the start or end of a PE session.
Example 8 week program with Bodyzorbs
This can be condensed into fewer sessions or extended to longer/continuous use
Week 1: Introduce Bodyzorbing and Practice.
Week 2: Bodyzorb battle and free play games.
Week 3: Bodyzorb soccer (a series of short and varied games).
Week 4: Bodyzorb Races (Rolling/Slalom/Relay).
Week 5: Bodyzorb Bulldog games.
Week 6: Children create their own games.
Week 7: Bodyzorb Choreography: Children create their own Bodyzorb display (Dancing, Rolling, Jumping, Spinning, Running and more).
Week 8: Bodyzorb Championship or Free play.
Bodyzorbs are also great for lunchtime playground activities and free play (on a Rota System in a separate area of the playground or in a sports hall).
They are also great for after school clubs.
They are fantastic for children with behavioural problems and hyperactive children. Children tire themselves out in these.
They can also be used at school fetes (charge people to have a 5 minute go) or for other fundraising activities and events.
