Full terms
Terms/Conditions and Warranty in Basic Terms
Manufacturing defects/splitting etc
The Material and any manufacturing defects of the ball are covered by the 12 month warranty.
Simply send the ball back and we will repair anything that needs repairing.
Option 2
If it is difficult, time consuming or costly for you to send the ball back to us, you can take it to any local company with a heat/high frequency welder to repair (most sail, sign, canvas makers will have such equipment). We can help you locate them if you need us to. It should take only a few minutes to do such repairs and should not cost much (just for their time).
Punctures
If you get a puncture it is easy to repair by yourself with the patches and glue that we supply. We could repair a hole if you send us the ball but it would not be worth it, it would be much quicker, cheaper and easier to do it by yourself. Contact us if you need any help.
The Warranty does not cover the zip (See below for explanation).
The Zips that we use are some of the best quality zips in the world. www.tizip.com
They are designed to last around 5000 cycles which would equate to over £17500 profit or equivalent use (based on charging £3.50 per go).
If they last 4000 cycles = £14000 /3000 cycles = £10,500 /2000 cycles = £7000 /1000 cycles = £3500
Zips Life
The zips are very durable, easy to maintain and operate however you should always take care, make sure they stay clean, well lubricated, you never force them or be rough with them. We cannot offer to replace and repair zips for free as the life of the zips will generally be dependent on the way you look after and operate them. Even if the zips come apart most of the time they will be fine and will not need replacing and can just be cleaned straightened and re-fastened by yourself.
Option 1 If a zip does actually break and the problem cannot be rectified by yourself, you can send the ball back to us in Bristol and we will fit a new zip for you at a charge of £30 for the materials and £30 for labor. If it does not need replacing we can just fix it and send it back to you.
Option 2 To save time, effort and money on delivery, postage and packaging we can send you a new zip encased in material ready to be welded to the ball for £30 and you can take it to any local company with a high frequency welder or PVC welder. They should be able to do it for you in under an hour for about £30.
Blowers: We are unable to offer a warranty on the blowers. I
If you want a blower with a warranty you can get one from www.gibbonsfans.com (various models available)
You will be responsible for all postage/delivery charges. So using a local company will usually be the best option.
